How it works

  1. Step 1

    Make the card

Add your funeral home, pick the hospice or leave it blank, choose a design and the words inside.

  2. Step 2

    The family signs it

Keep a few printed cards in the arrangement room. Families who want to say thank you sign one together.

  3. Step 3

    You pass it on

Drop it off or mail it to the hospice, so the team hears from the family they cared for.

Questions

What are these cards for?

Families often want to thank the hospice team that cared for someone they love, and rarely have a card at hand. You print a few, the family signs one when they meet you, and you pass it on to the hospice nurses, aides, social workers and chaplains.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Make as many cards as you like. We ask for an email address only to send the PDF.

How do I print them?

Print the PDF on US Letter paper on any home or office printer, both sides. For the folded card, flip on the short edge and fold once down the middle; it fits an A9 envelope. The flat cards print four to a sheet; cut along the marks for four 4.25 x 5.5 inch cards that fit an A2 envelope. A heavier paper or card stock (65 to 110 lb) feels nicer, but plain paper works.

What if we do not know which hospice cared for the family?

Leave the hospice blank. The card then has a line where the family writes the hospice's name.

What prints on the card about our funeral home?

Only a small line on the back: your funeral home's name, and the city and phone number if you add them. The front and inside belong to the family's thanks.
